11/1/2014 - DrakkarNoir Does not like this wine: NR14% abv. Drank blind vs an '11 Angel Flower. Not my style of pinot… nose that consisted of dark berries, asphalt, rubber and smoke (aptly named wine i guess). Not necessarily over-ripe like other new world pinots, but was missing brighter/lighter flavours. Medium bodied with low tannins. Acidity missing. Did not taste fresh nor young. |
