Pure, balanced, solid fruit core of what seems like a mix of melon, kiwi and some vivid acidity that lengthens the finish of the wine. The finish has the same spicy kiwi note that tingles for several seconds. This is medium weighted, with the edges lightly polished. Good stuff. |

Shading of lemon, the same depth of melon found in the other two vintages and the a guava-like note. I wrote "pure" in my notes, to convey a balance and clean sensation. Like with a lot of Larry's wines last night, there is a spicy note in the finish, this one anise-like for me. |

I find more citrus and acidity here compared to the 2009, with the melon notes leaner and more focused, too. Acidity is very present. Shows the signature of the vintage. |

The flavors shows a nice mix of melon, yellow apple, dried pineapple and light drying tannin of stone. Finishes fresh, whch is supported by by some laser acidity that drives it home. Another person tasting with me called the acid grapefruit--that's a great descriptor. This is very good, refreshing, no flab and terrific intensity. |
