I first tasted this wine for my Sixth Annual Blind Tasting of American Pinot Noir and I loved it then (95 Points). I still really like it (a lot), but it seems to be in a bit of a dumb phase right now with not much emanating from the glass and a bit muted on the palate. Weird. EDIT: After a bit of time open, it really, well, opened up. Very similar to my first experience, great fruit, tartness, fantastic with similar notes. |

Pale translucent ruby color, no noticeable heat, minimal tannins, low acidity, light body, no structure. Tart cherry fruit and spicy oak notes on the palate. Short clean finish. Very simple but quaffable and food-friendly wine. Thinking that this wine might show better with a bit of chill on a warm summer night. |

Nicely balanced, with great texture and depth. Lots of dark berries, fig, and plum. A nice 92 pointer, and a great value for what I paid for it. Don’t think it has decades ahead of it, but probably a nice 5 to 7 years. |
