On first opening late last evening, its nose was muted and the wine seemed lifeless. Not expecting much when revisiting 18 hours later but, wow! Nice red fruit nose with a hint of the burgundy funk. Great texture with nice red fruit palate and surprising length. Matches quality of many a 1er cru. |
