Very good and going strong. No sign of oxidation. Acid dances on the tongue with orchard fruit overtones. Very nice.

Great bottle. Wanted to find out where I was at. Needs more time, but should improve several points. I purchased at a private tasting with the older winemaker of the Domaine. The person had so much knowledge of these wines and burgundy in general. I like this wine as it is domaine owned grapes as opposed to purchased grapes from other growers.

I asked a question on aging and pre-oxidation which of course is the bane of white burgundy fans. He said that they took too much out of the wine making process years ago and that introduced the issue. A perfectly sterile environment as it turns out also leaves out some critical bacteria for preservation of the wine. Regarding age, he said ten years no problem.

Another question was corks. Why are there bad corks. His reply was interesting. They buy corks in bulk of course with all their bottles produced. They would test some of the corks and then go forward with the purchase and subsequent bottling. What they have introduced in their process is X-raying each cork for flaws. I wish all winemakers did this. I can tell you the cork was tight and very dense which bodes well for aging potential.
