No interpretive experiments with infection are to be found here. And, no obscuring interventions/processes for that matter. Just elegantly fallen flavors, of blue-fruited Sangiovese, and ripe, stone flavored, determined tannins. Balsam roots and cobbles. Insurgent fabric of stranded acidity. Until I learn more about it I should guess it can be depleted at the rate of one bottle per year, to 2034. |

Now, it strides over twine sap and stone flavor, gathering organization in its argument toward savory briar and petrichor. Remarkable transparency of flavor; a weightless chassis of cherry cordial; teased on the edges with herb smoke; gripping tea tannins; mouthwatering; quenching, nervous acidity. The effects of its palate impact fill in a way that coincidentally heightens bouquet to a dizzying extreme. Only at this point do I discover shadowy projections manifest in pastis, bruised strawberry, chicory, and cocoa. Very fresh; drink now-2028+. |

Overt time the cherry is restrained and the dried and green grasses become more prominent. The palate is chalky and round with a great acidic balance. There is a taste like chocolate covered cherries here. Smoky and savory notes as well. Very nice. |

The Syrah adds a bit of spice and the Sangiovese provides a hint of licorice and some earthy qualities. The tannins & acid are moderate and in check. This is a unique wine and is put together quite nicely. Drinking well young, but will age nicely in the next few years |
