Deep, rich fruit contrast with the sweet american oak cooperage of vanilla, mocha and chocolate. Floral and menthol freshness prevent the fruit concentration from being overwhelming. You rarely see such a big cabernet be this stress free to drink. |

Tried twice at the estate with Michael & co. and found it thrilling then, my feelings sharing this bottle were unchanged. Didn't take any notes because the enjoyment was too much, extremely glad to hold 5 more of these and see them evolve as I'm certain they will over the next 15-20 years. Kudos to the winemaker here! |

There’s some cedar there as well. The tannins have some power and the acidity is well judged. It lacks the complexity or depth that might push it into the next tier of wines, but still offers good QPR. A few more years of bottle age will help, but I’d recommend a decent either way. A good amount of sediment in the bottle. 46% Cab, 34% Merlot, 16% Syrah, and 4% Cab Franc. |
