3/17/2024 - Giggs wrote: 84 pointsToo candy sweet and lacking a sense of place like so many Washington wines. The nose is more restrained and sophisticated than the palate. I’d love to ask the winemaker about picking a little earlier. If feasible, I can imagine trading some sweetness for more acidity would be beneficial. |

1/1/2024 - Karay161 wrote: 90 pointsThis a beautiful well balanced wine. The wine has a slight citrus nose and your first mouthful is a burst of sunshine with lots of summer fruit flavor... cantaloupe, lemon, pineapple followed by hints of vanilla. This in my opinion is better chilled. This has a flavorful profile & would be great with lots of foods...summer salads, soups. Had with French Onion Soup & it was great. |

11/27/2023 - winedupe Likes this wine: 85 pointsCellartracker quoted 2016-2018. This is 2023, but his wine is still alive. Not a great bottle, but not a bad bottle. Color is still dark purple. Nose has mild fruit. Taste was very distinctive - oddly, I would say it was vanilla, a taste I have never had in a wine! |

9/18/2023 - sid_loves_wine Likes this wine: 92 pointsPretty nice, although a bit tough to get a bead on- felt pretty closed most of the time, only showing a bit of nice rich fruit and oak at the very end. Maybe it just needs a bit of time. Kind of a vague chocolatey dark raspberry on the nose and palate for a while at first, with a bit of alcohol heat. I liked the structure at least, which was pretty hefty without being needlessly tannic/coarse. |

5/25/2023 - rmh66 wrote: 89 pointsWahluke Slope AVA. Better with a short decant. Blueberry, cassis, plum jam, strawberry, new leather, smoke, and earth on the nose. Plum, tart cherry, red cherry, earth, and herbs on the palate. Good acidity, grippy tannins, medium finish. Overall, this is much more interesting than the last wine from this producer. If I had another bottle, I would stow it away for a few years to see where it goes, as it's not really a fruit bomb style, and the tannins need to settle a bit more. |

5/14/2023 - Karay161 Likes this wine: 95 pointsThis dark plum hued wine has a wonderful intense nose of earthy dark berry's.At first taste you are greeted with those earthy berry's along with cranberry, pomegranate, & coffee with a slight smoky finish. The wine is juicy, ripe & intense with berry flavors, it is a powerful red & yet remains very, very well balanced. This wine was excellent with pizza |

On the palate, the same flavour profile as the aromas are noted with some earthy dark herbs as well. Medium bodied with a medium finish. Great qpr. |

3/22/2023 - nfurlong Likes this wine: 90 pointsreferring back to my previous note of 2019: "spicy red fruit and cedar on the nose; delicious blackberry black cherry and plum with black pepper spices". It's definitely mellowed somewhat in the last 4 years. I'm getting a less spicy, more integrated note on the fruit, but still drinking very well. I've got one more bottle and will be drinking it in the next year. |

3/21/2023 - John from GR Does not like this wine: 82 pointsIn my search for nice wines at twenty bucks, my local wine merchant suggested this. So I bought a bottle. Tonight at dinner I took a sip and thought, “okay, nothing special, but not unpleasant.” But I have created a monster with my wife. She took one sip and told me to get her something good. We ended up drinking a 2018 CdP (Donjon)… young, but wonderful. |
