5/16/2014 - monzell Does not like this wine: NRB-. As fond as I am of Le Cuvier, this bottle was, at best, lackluster, and more honestly, off-putting. I wish that I could call it lambic, but the fruit was too thin. Too old? I don't recall when it arrived. Poured for company with great expectations. It was passed over for more pleasing fare. Will only be drunk if there's no stew on the horizon. |

Set aside until following evening and miraculously, the rich, dark cherry and blackberry fruit had emerged. The thick burnt structure remained, but was amply balanced by the fruit. A rich, old zin. |
