4/4/2021 - apratt814 Likes this wine: 95 pointsThis was the star of our dinner last night. I tasted this at the winery when it was released and I literally wrote "age 10 years" on the bottle. I remember it being very tight and young but with a ton of potential. Welp, it didn't last 10 years in the cellar, but pretty close. When we opened it last night the tannins had mellowed and it showed big beautiful fruit...really a great bottle. I have one more in my cellar that I'll continue to age for a few more years. I wouldn't hesitate to open now though because it's drinking really well. |
