Decanted 1.5 hours. Enjoyed over the next 3 hours.
Nose had blackcurrants with touches of vanilla and sandalwood. Opulent, elegant and deep.
Palate had blackcurrants, dried roses and cedar. Immense weight on the midpalate. Velvety mouthfeel with >1 min long finish.
Wine fully opened up at the 2nd hour of drinking.
An undoubtedly complex wine that I feel has past its adolescence. Still a long way to its peak, but, given enough air, already very delightful at this stage.

Magnum. Double decanted.
Nose had blackcurrants, black cherries with hints of sous bois and cocoa. Superb concentration. Hedonistic.
Tannins resolved; silky soft mouthfeel. Perfect streak of acidity to balance the richness of fruit. Medium finish.
Amazing wine blessed by amazing condition.

Decanted for 4 hours (Required at this stage). The nose had cocoa, smoked meat, stewed cherries that slowly evolved into a distinct and deep blue cheese flagrance. The palate was silky with superb concentration and weight. Flavors of savory (Stilton) and black fruits meld together into an exhilarating and long finish.
So much fun and so much life ahead.

Pnp. Drank over 3 hours. Initially greeted with red fruits on the nose; notes of mushrooms and sous bois began to dominate after the first hour. Acidity and tannins still kicking at the ripe age of 36, but overwhelms any remaining character of the fruit that is left, if any. Lack of concentration and length. Agree with previous notes that this is past its peak.

Bottle breathed for 2 hours. Loved the expressive and elegant floral nose. White flowers and red fruits. However, the palate did not match up. Soft tannins, but overwhelming oak flavours. Rough edges of spice and leather.

Pnp. Opened with violets and Rayas signature lychee wood on the nose. Flagrant dark fruits and hints of mint as the night went on. Silky tannins and good amount of fruitiness on the palate with some cocoa on the finish. Balanced and elegant.

Pnp. Reticent nose of game, black olives, violets, and black currants. Palate was chewy with grippy and structured tannins. Black fruits and hints of green pepper. A feminine and balanced syrah.
Starting to enter its drinking window.

Strawberry fields and violets on pour. Feminine and transparent. Loved the strawberry and raspberry notes on this. Berry flavours are given verve by the harmonious acidity.

Signature expressive gunflint nose with hints of lemon oil and fresh mint leaves. Palate confirms the nose with good minerality for balance. Enjoyable for the first hour, but faded as the night went on. Decent but disappointing for the price and presitge.

Decanted for 2 hours. Nose had pepper, game, smoke, and violets. Palate was a good balance between lush black fruit and distinct minerality. Expressive yet elegant. Ready to drink.
