Unfortunately this 21 year old bottle was consumed right after a 2007 Hundred Acre Cabernet, so there could have been a bit of bias on my part. Once I spent a half an hour getting the cork out, there was a bit of fruit left, and decent tanins. This was my first time purchasing a wine with this many years of age on it, next time I will do a little more homework. |

Unfortunately the Beringer was past its prime which could be why the Hundred Acre tasted so amazing. Either way, the 2007 Hundred Acre Cabernet is something to remember. Smooth tanins, deep fruit and perfectly structured. If possible, I highly recommend picking up a bottle. |
