Extra long bottle, screw top.
Very light slate olive color. Nose a bit shy but some mouthwatering lime citrus and wet rocks with time. Palate off-dry, lime with a faint floral honey sweetness and a stony minerality. Wonderful balance and checks all the boxes for a well-made kabinett, but a bit simple without an extra gear. Good with Taiwanese. 90 pts

“From own-rooted vines planted in 1906 in the signature Delhi Sands of Oakley. Farmed by Bedrock in concert with Manuel Carranza, who has tirelessly worked on the ranch for over two decades.”
Chocolatey and dark fruited, surprisingly low acidity, a bit heavy with a rich pork belly dish. After some time, it did pick up a bit of a bright note. Not sure if this was just my palate or if it’s in an awkward place or if it’s just a low acid wine. 88 pts

Violet burgundy with some translucence. Nose an earthy tart red fruit note, grapey. With time, some violets. Palate some density to the fruit, seamless, a floral note to the dark fruit. Some strawberry red fruit brightness with time. An herbal density to the fruit.
Well crafted and interesting. Could benefit from some more time

Violet with some transparency at edges. Nose brambly dark fruits. Some earth, a bit of animale. Palate earthy and some herbal wildness at first. A black tea flavor with time, light bodied.
Startling, unique zinfandel. I can see how it's polarizing, but I thought this was interesting and fun.

Light violet with some transparency. Nose dark fruited with some garrigue. Palate initially a bit short, as it sits and warms, more of a ripe strawberry note with some silky texture. A favorite for me within the Bedrock lineup, lighter bodied and graceful.

13.5% abv. Violet burgundy with some transparency. Nose aromatic, red cherries with a heady rose floral aroma. Palate nice balance of red cherries, a fruity depth. Silky texture. Some baking spice.
Appealing, very tasty -- perhaps not the most deep but enjoyable and likely good for at least a few more years

11.5% abv. Burgundy violet with some translucence.
Nose red fruits, a red cherry note.
Palate very high acidity almost harsh, a strong minerality. A bit underripe. After night in fridge. Some fine sediment, thick towards the bottom. More balanced mouthfeel, especially with some rich pizza. Strawberry and raspberry. A mineral note. More fruity depth. Definitely a wine that gets better with more time.

“Passage en cave : 48 mois” Disgorged July 2020
Initially vigorous mousse that dissipates quickly; then a golden brassy color. Nose orange fruit, a mineral note. Some brioche. Palate wonderful depth, grapefruit and lemon with hint of vanilla, a mineral spine; eventually some strawberry shortcake flavors, surprisingly.
Feel like I can taste the prolonged aging at the winery. Lovely and fitting for New Year's Eve.

Violet burgundy. Nose ripe red fruits. A maple note. Palate red fruited, some brightness with hints of minerals. After a few days in fridge: deep red fruits, a silky texture, hint of vanilla on finish, hint of cocoa. Much deeper and more satisfying, still young I think.
Of course it's a big California red, but I think this is my favorite out of the Turley red lineup. Actually not too ripe to my taste, still holding strong for at least a few more years.

Very easy to drink with bbq. Not the most complex, but enjoyable and refreshing.

Light ruby with transparency. Some sediment on bottle. Nose a wild hint of barnyard, then red fruits. Palate slightly spritzy, a feral iron tinge, some red fruit -- strawberries. Light bodied.
Perhaps some spoilage but that sense is minimized if you drink it chilled and quickly. Not one for aging, a glou glou wine for sure. 89 pts

Opaque violet with burgundy tinge at edges. Nose some red fruits, a hint of mocha, an herbal tinge. Palate cherry and orange fruit with nice brightness, great balance of richness with a dark chocolate hint.
Outstanding value and a strong statement of Bedrock's winemaking that it shows this well as a "base" wine.
