9/18/2017 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 90 pointsWe were surprised that this 11 year old chardonnay was still going strong. If you have some, don't give up on it, but it's probably a good idea to drink it soon. Beautiful golden color, hints of nectarine and cherry with an pleasant oiliness on the finish that suggest that it once had some oak, but it is definitely french style, and is somewhat reminiscent of sauvignon blanc and viognier. |

4/27/2015 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 89 pointsThis tasted really good at first, but it diminished a bit over time, though still a very good wine. Tannic with good fruit that seemed to fade with each sip. Musty odor. |

4/27/2015 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 93 pointsQuite mellow and very tasty. Tabacco on the aroma, slightly peppery, with a smooth finish. Tannins have all but disappeared, and I would suggest drinking soon. |

9/25/2014 - mrswiss wrote: 92 pointsWow, that's tasty! Silky smooth, with fruit that starts slow and ends strongly on the finish, along with some pepper. Try it with pork now, and I bet it will continue to shine for a few more years. |

8/5/2014 - mrswiss wrote: 87 pointsPast its peak, but it still tasted very good, just missing some fruit and intensity. My previous bottle had seemed slightly sour, but this one was nice and mellow with a nice flavor, so maybe it has reached a good plateau that will last a couple more years. |

1/25/2014 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 84 pointsThis was way past the stated drinking window, but we decided to try it with a lunch of merguez sausage and lentils with greens. The cork had wine about halfway through it, but the wine was still solid. In fact, it didn't have the heat some zins have, which worked with the sausage. Probably past its prime and slightly flat, but still tasty. Drink it now if you have it and it's not corked. |

11/13/2013 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 88 pointsThis wasn't quite as good as I had hoped. Maybe in between being a big newish cab to a mellow old cab, but it seemed to be missing something. It was still well balanced and tasty, but I will let my last bottle sit for a couple of years to see whether it improves in its late years. |

6/6/2013 - mrswiss Likes this wine: 89 pointsAn excellent wine for the price. We did a blind tasting together with a $75 French Burgundy and a $40 Syrah, and this came out on top. Very good with halibut and roasted cauliflower with olive. |
