3/3/2024 - ekozie Does not like this wine: 84 pointsLike someone shoved an entire damp pine forest into a manure processing plant into a cranberry bog into an afrin bottle, and then messed with the dosing mechanism so the entire contents got sprayed up the nose on the first pull. Too much funk, too much barnyard, too much menthol, too much road tar, too much fruit, too much of everything -- with no finesse or elegance. Stylistically I historically haven't cared for too many California pinots, but this wine is so noxious it's managing the impressive feat of singlehandedly putting me off the entire genre. Honestly reminds me a bit of that Wagner family trash pinot, albeit with a more varietally-appropriate body. |

Clumsy, unenjoyable tannins dominate a thankfully short finish. I'm upgrading it to wine I can have a glass with while I use the rest to cook. |
