Superb for a standard Bourgogne, but would prefer waiting another 2-5 years as I believe there is still an upside.

Dekantert.

Freshly lit match / sulfur, but in a good way. Interesting and enjoyable wine.

Pronounced nose of passion fruit, gooseberries with fresh lemon tone. On the palate fruit but nice vivid acids as well. Perhaps a bit over the top but still enjoyable. Medium aftertaste.

Fully mature, this really only needs a pop and pour, and probably needs to be drunk over the next 3 years to enjoy it at its best. It is a lovely aged St. Émilion, with an aromatic nose of ripe berry fruits, and a silky mouthfeel with great depth on the palate and finish. For myself, it has always been the best of the three year hiatus of the estate from 1998 to 2000.

Pale color with a green streak and hint of cloudiness.
Ripe stone fruits mixed with dough and baked goods
It enters with a full bitterness and ends with a rieslingesque razor sharp acidity and a long finish.

Had a tasting at the vineyard a few weeks ago and brought lots of wines back home. They are not officially selling their very limited amount of PetNat bottles anymore, but I was very interested to get one. Vinified by Methode Rurale.

My first red PetNat and a very interesting one indeed. CO2 explosion upon opening the bottle cap, cloudy red colour. A bit different from the white PetNats I usually drink, given the fruity (red berries) and yeasty notes, and a rather muted nose. Very interesting!

91/92. A beautifully aromatic elegant nicely oaked blue and red fruits Bio wine with good length, depth and freshness. 13%. Drink now. Can be PnP'd with pleasure but 15-30 mins aeration does it proud. This has broadened in the last 4 years.

50% whole cluster. Parcel is mid-slope with full Eastern exposure. Peppery with lovely salinity. Opened about 4 1/2 hours before drinking, but could have used a little more time to loosen up a bit.

Had a tasting at the vineyard a few weeks ago and brought lots of wines back home. I really liked their oaked white wines and brought two bottles of this Pinot Blanc back home.

11 months maturation in 500l Mercier oak barrels.
Creamy and mellow Pinot Blanc with ripe pear, quince, honey melon, light minerality and some oak.
Excellent value at 10€!
