Tasting, brief note. Ripe and slightly tropical aromas with spice hints, then leaner with both tropical and citrus fruit flavors, lots of minerality and concentration for an SLB white. Very impressive value.

Tasting, brief note. Good orchard fruit aromas that are well spiced. Large scaled and powerful, this has good density and concentration but can use a little more cellar time for more nuance to develop.

Lean styled aromas, lots of orchard fruit with spice hints. Lean and precise apple flavors, plenty of acidity, moderate nuance and length.

Tasting, brief note. Ripe apple, some peach, plenty of roasted nuts with floral notes. slightly less interesting on palate, good overall start through middle, then an ever-so-slightly bitter hint on finish. Cellar another year+.

Tasting, brief note. Nicely floral and spicy aromatic start with restrained fruit. Great flavors overall with slightly sweet, nuanced fruit that evolves start-to-finish, retaining density and richness with great energy. Somewhat subtle today, this will benefit from 5+ years in the cellar.

Tasting, brief note. From 375 ml bottle. Ripe and rich in a classically opulent, forward Batard style. I slightly preferred the P-M Mouchere 1er just tasted.

Tasting, bref note. From 3L given plenty of time in decanter. Rich, ripe and very forward. Lots of peach and yellow apple with plenty of spice. Very fat overall, very characteristic of the vintage.

Tasting. Lots of earth for a wine this young. Black fruit, modest spice, somewhat austere.

Tasting. Red fruit aromas and flavors with a bit of oak, well structured, good minerality, slightly firm. Needs a few more years in cellar.

Lots of fresh red berry aromas, some spice hints along with a touch of animale. Very forward and fresh, and drinking very nicely now given modest tannins and power.

Tasting. Black and red cherry aromas with spice and floral hints. More meaty and dense than I d expect from Villages level Volnay, very balanced but firm on palate. Give this at least a year or three in the cellar.

Tasting. Tough wine to assess. At first it came across as dense, firm, with all black fruit and liqueur notes, almost seeming jammy. With more air and consideration, this was still a large scaled Volnay but its great concentration and intensity really starting coming through. Serious wine that needs plenty of cellar time. 90 points today, 92-93 point potential from here.

Tasting. Similar to the Caillerets just tasted, also a bit of liqueur and jam, just not showing the same level of concentration and medium-term potential for me.

Very forward and charming Grand Cru, accessible today with mostly red fruit aromas and flavors, good ripeness, good textures, modest intensity and concentration. Good now, and I expect easily for another decade+.
