There is a reason that we went through five cases of this in a jiffy. Awesome, and even among several heavy hitters, held its own as one of the wines of the night.

Very fruit forward; lasted only a little while in my glass, though others suggested developing floral aromatics with time. Tonight, showed worse than many other producers' '09s.

One word: Yum!

Weird, bizarre, wet salty vinyl with an even weirder finish. Enjoy if you're into that sort of thing.

Quite good on open, with a nice freshness and slight chalkiness on the palate. Some petrol. With air, much of the complexity and freshness goes into hiding and it becomes much less enjoyable.

Why do I not own more of this? Grass, grapefruit, lemon, and yum.

Nice, but lacking the verve and freshness that younger (or better aged) versions have.

Cotton candy, strawberry candy, and any and every other candy. Nose: candy. Palate: candy. Finish: candy. Overall: candy. How do you "smell" sugar? Until this wine, I didn't know it was possible.
