White - Sparkling
N.V. Billecart-Salmon Champagne Brut Sous Bois France, Champagne

Very tasty with nice pear, apple, and earth. I liked the yeasty notes a lot, too. Didn't have a ton of depth, though..
Red
2001 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Clos Vougeot France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Clos Vougeot Grand Cru

Gorgeous aromas of berries, soft floral notes, and some underbrush. The palate was cool, deep, and expressive. Loved the airiness of the palate - tons of cranberries, subtle earth notes, soft rose notes, and a mineral tone. I could get used to this.
Red
2001 Domaine Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru

Really beautiful wine. Loved the cherry/cranberry notes on the nose with lingering floral accents, too. You gotta love Meo in these cool/stern/hard vintages. Tons of freshness, lots of depth, and complexity. A hair behind the 2001 CV drank along side it, for me. This one seemed just a hair shallower. Regardless, I loved it.
White
2009 Bonneau du Martray Corton-Charlemagne France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
90 points
I don't think I loved this wine as much as others did, but it was still very good. The sweetness of the wine was the big marker for me, and, in a perfect world, would have liked it a bit more acidic. Great fruit concentration, though. Despite the less-than-perfect acidic backbone, it still had really nice elegance.
White - Off-dry
2010 Egon Müller/Le Gallais Wiltinger Braune Kupp Riesling Spätlese Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

Very elegant and expressive. Lots of white florals, white peach, lemons, and nectarines. Tons of length and depth. Just gorgeous.
White - Off-dry
2003 Dönnhoff Norheimer Kirschheck Riesling Spätlese Germany, Nahe

Thought this showed really well. Incredibly light color with flavors of peach, nectarine, and white florals. Palate was airy with very nice acidity. Everyone in Germany claims 2003 is the next 1959, and this is another example of a brilliant 2003 Spatlese. Lovely stuff.
Rosé - Sparkling
2002 Dom Pérignon Champagne Rosé Luminous France, Champagne
94 points
Brilliant champagne. The energy and verve was just off the charts with very nice undertones of umami, rose petals, and earth. Palate was long and deep. I could go through cases of this stuff.
White
2001 Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Kabinett Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer
flawed
oxidized.
White
2010 Nicolas Joly Savennières Roche aux Moines Clos de la Bergerie France, Loire Valley, Anjou-Saumur, Savennières Roche aux Moines

Exotic chenin. Some banana peel, white floral notes, and lemons. The palate was nicely acidic, and had good depth. Joly's fingerprints were all over this. Yum.
Red
2013 Domaine Denis Bachelet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin
I think this was in a weird spot. Too young and raw.
White
2011 Weingut Keller Kirchspiel Riesling Großes Gewächs Germany, Rheinhessen
91 points
Yeah, i love Keller's rieslings. No exception here. Great concentration of fruit with good depth and complexity. Loved the peach and nectarine tones especially. The finish was long and was mostly mineral. Finished cleanly. Thumbs up.
Red
2006 Bouchard Père et Fils Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru
94 points
Very impressive wine. Deep, deep wine with tons of concentration of flavor and balance. Aromas of earth, ash, cherries, cranberries, roses, & pomegranate. The palate was really great. Had the vibrancy of 2006, with the elegance and depth of 2005. Malconsorts is a special vineyard, and the quality really shined through.
Red
2006 Domaine de Montille Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru
90 points
Drank alongside the 2006 Bouchard Malconsorts. Compared to the Bouchard this seemed a bit closed down. Didn't have the expressive fruit or depth that the Bouchard had. Drink the Bouchard now and save the Montille till 2025? Sure...
