Wonderfully fresh nose with white florals and classic petrol. Whiffs of chlorine as well. Superior to the nose on the '01 which is both less fresh and expressive. Green apple and pear on the palate with a distinct spritz. Finish is long and delicious. This takes the first flight which includes a '90.

Less fresh, clean, and expressive than the nose on the '02 although still very pretty. Some lemon citrus in addition to the white florals. Less classic petrol. Palate is developing some nice tropical fruit but is shorter than both '02 and '90.

Diesel and honey on the nose. Intriguing acrylic paint, cinnamon, and saffron. More pineapple comes out with air. Palate is rich, lush, and just delicious.

Corked.

With coaxing this nose gives up a complex bouquet of echinacea and honey with fresh herbal notes. Smoky honey as well. Gunpowder and spent 12 gauge shells. Ripe pineapple on the palate with big acid to balance out delicious sweetness. Both '95 and '96 are terrific.

This nose is more showy if a touch less nuanced than the '96 and has ginger and honey with sage, rosemary, and cereal grains. Very fresh and highly expressive. Palate is honeyed with ripe yellow and tropical fruit. Both '95 and '96 are terrific.

Developed nose with cinnamon and fall spices. Molasses and maple. Brown butter. Palate has dried mango and overripe tropical fruits. Where as the '71 is straddling sweet and savoury, this is more on the sweet side, notwithstanding mature and developed flavours.

Ceramics and red clay. Sawdust and varnished wood. Complex and chemical. This is a lot different than the '76. A touch of spritz on the palate with brown butter, cinnamon, and fall spices. Straddling sweet and savoury.

Corked.

Fresh and sharp nose with clean apricot as well as more developed yellow fruit aromas with a trace of smoke throughout. Palate is vibrant and clean as well as endowed. Definitely lighter than the '70s Goldkapsules.

Expressive and forward nose that has a good dose of classic petrol along with developing white peach and young mango. Fresh, clean, very pretty and delicious.

Forward nose of dried pineapple, apricot, and mango, and with just a little more fruit juice than the '88 compared to the petrol notes. Fresh, clean, very pretty and delicious and honeyed.

Fresh, clean, petrol, white peach. Sharp and tight relative to '05 and '03. Last flight of the night, notes evidently starting to fall off.

White peach, mango, and strawberry. This is very intricate and vibrant with stonefruit and slate. Extremely ripe.

Vibrant nose thy actually has a bit of jalapeño pepper to it. High strung. Delicious now but built for the long haul.
