I would have had a tough time guessing this was Gamay. In the glass, it absolutely looked like a pinot - translucent and ruby red. A really beautiful Beaujolais.

When we originally tasted this wine at the estate, it was an epiphany wine. The best white wine I had tasted at that point. Five years later, it is still one of the best whites I have had. This bottle showed a deep golden color that made me worry there was some premox in spite of the special closure. No worries - the wine was beautiful. Honeyed apple and a hint of citrus. Loving it.

I thought this wine was amazing. This isn't a flashy wine. This is a wine that builds in your senses. It's Sondheim in a bottle. It keeps growing on you as you drink it. The acid balance is perfect at the moment. The fruit still is vibrant and youthful but has a maturity like a musician that has found their stride. This paired perfectly with a steak salad.

Flawed bottle. Strange almost carbonated mouthfeel. Cloudy in the glass. Reminded me of tasting a wine being transferred from a fermentation tank to the barrel. I don't know what was wrong with it but it was not drinkable next to a Williams Selyem poured the same evening.

One of the best Cali Chardonnays I have had. Love the acidity. Such a good complement to food. If you have backed away from California chards because of the oaky butter bombs that seem to flood the market, this is the wine for you. Think a young Chablis on steroids.

When you can make Pinot Blanc like this, why does Oregon even bother with Pinot Gris? This wine is so much more interesting. A steal for a wine of this quality and depth.

Probably pulled this a decade too soon. As big of a merlot as I have had. Heck, this would be big for a Napa Cab. Looks like Petite Sirah in the glass due to the density and color. Because I was looking for something a little lighter, it didn't necessarily pair well with dinner, but if you want a big wine with a hearty dish this would work nicely. Pricey but still cheaper than comparable cabs.

Kind of in a strange place at the moment. It is in between a youthfully exuberant version of itself and a mature version. As a result, it's not quite sure what it wants to be and in spite of that, it's pretty darn good.

Great stuff. Could easily go another 5. A little cranberry like bite gives to some pop but the finish lasts forever. Perfect with a pork rib roast.

My first cru Beaujolais with a little age on it. I get it now. Still should have waited another couple of years. I've been loading up on wines like this and it will be fun to see how they develop.

Ryan IMO is one of the best in California when doing chardonnay. Great stuff. The use of oak is integrated so well that it add depth and elevated the fruit.

Becoming a fan of this varietal. Good stuff. Aromatic. I would drink this anytime over a pinot gris.

A really solid QPR pinot. When Ryan get these special deals on high quality fruit, these are pretty close to a must buy as there is.

A very tasty wine. Nose doesn't give much of a hint as to what is in the glass. Just a hint of sweetness on the finish.

If this isn't one of the best chardonnay values anywhere, I want yours to try. Great balance. Chablis' Oregon cousin. Vincent isn't trying to make Chablis, he's trying to make the best Oregon chardonnay he can - but it leans in that direction. Delivers well above its price point.

Very smooth. Entering that elegant phase. The 10% Pinot Blanc adds an unusual flavor dimension that sings. A little sulfur on the nose but it blew off quickly. Wish I had one more bottle to open in about 5-7 years.
