shouod have decanted for at least an hour, when it finally opened up.
a little tart at the finish, but still a pleasant Pinot.

great Bordeau blend for sure
surprised the merlot ratio was as high as 70%. decanted fro an hour did help too

decanted three hours to open up and enjoy with a rack of lamb dinner. the second glass even opened up more. slightly dry, great nose, dark berries.

this pinot was much lighter than other Pinot Noir's produced in the Dundee Hill region of Oregon. smooth, no harsh tannins. we visited this winery several years ago and bought a case and this was the last bottle.

This was a decent wine for sure, but we prefer a heavier Pinot produced in the same area (Zena Crown's produces this grape variety covering the four seasons of the year). Our favorite Pinot for sure.

decanted one hour, enjoyed with a nice filet.
great nose, hints of liquorish red berries and vanilla
definitely what we expected. it could go for another 7-10 years and still hold it's boldness and flavor.
my last bottle in the cellar. i need to replenish with the 2020 and put it down for 10+ years (if i can wait tht long)

Decanted 3 hours, tried taste 1 hour but opened up even more 2 hours later.
Great nose, deep blue fruits evelated while not as bold flavor as other similar vintage Napa cab.

Medium color, great blue fruit, opened up nicely but since there were four of us, we only had one glass each from this maker. Smooth tannins with a long finish

Aerated into a decanter for 3 hours then aerated again back into the bottle to transfer to our local restaurant decanter and enjoyed with Asian short beef rib with sticky rice etc.

Fantastic notes of berries and smooth finish and well balanced tannins.

What a great wine to share with my wife in a birthday dinner

Decanted even though young at 2017 . Definitely one of our favorites from Oregon’s Dundee world with valcanic soil

Opened and initial nose was great and extremely grate Brunello brownish color . Initially an exciting taste in the mouth for our first glass but started to loose the structure after being opened for an hour. Suggest to drink this 2004 vintage soon if in your cellar now.

Still loved the wine with A perfectly cooked Guineafowl plus a pasta dish with sliced black truffles
Targeted an-aged Brunello with hopes around 95+ PT’s.
Maybe next time

Decanted one hour and enjoyed with a steak dinner easily over an hour and some extra chit-chat.

Fantastic fruit and smooth tannins . Kept opening up more and more, so there is still life for a few more years.

Keeping my last bottle until 2024+ unless I just can’t wait that long

Decanted 1 hour and served at 65 degrees
Enjoyed with steaks, baked potatoes and nice salad

Great wine and very smooth with almost no tannins, much lighter than a regular cab. Finish held in your mouth

For our next opportunity, We plan to hold the other 2017 bottles for awhile and seek buying the 2018 vintage for our cellar

Zena Crown’s PN’s are Unlike many other Willamette PN’s with more flowery frangence and more enjoyable to our taste.

Nose is fading full fruit smell, but drinks very smooth and not much acidity . Finish was mid level

Plan to drink the last 3 bottles by end next year 2022 or latest 2023

Bought two bottles of this vintage plus several others too July 2921 from a friend who sold his house and needed to liquidate his wine inventory.

I was told it was a gamble for the older wines but for $25 I took the gamble and drank it happily.

Cork broke / filtered it and even ran thru an aireater a few times and let sit. Surprisingly, it had no acidity and berry flavor was still enjoyable
