Really good. Big fruit with earthy tannins falling out, but still a bit of licorice, menthol and acid to balance. Has aged well.

Unique wine for CA. More earthy, lighter style cab franc that is french-ish. Very balanced with some light red fruit earth and tobacco. I appreciate this elegant style.

I’m really digging this wine. Not fruit forward certainly, but balanced and nuanced. Love it. It just has more complexity than much higher priced wines. Not for fruit bomb lovers, but I There is fruit still.

This was MUCH better than the 09 Merlot for my palate. This was big, but had solid balance and some complexity. Excellent.

This is one sophisticated CdR IMO. Earthy and minerals. Like a CdR and cru Beaujolais. Dry, slightly tannic. My kind of wine. Love the style. Less of a robert Parker wine.

This bottle was not overtly corked like the last one which tasted like nail polish and went down the drain. This bottle was some where imbetween, yet drinkable. It tastes like a classy pinot that unfortunately still had a bit of volatile acidity going on. It was drinkable and somewhat pleasant(mid-80s) but was disappointing because if it was in pristine shape, it would have been a 90+ wine based on its elegance and class. Too bad. As it was, tastes 2/3rds like a classy pinot and 1/3 like a really abrasive cheap wine. 88 based on average of mid80s and 90+ that it probably would be in decent shape. Almost a victory after prior bottle disaster. One more bottle left to see if I get lucky. Cork was in slightly better shape than the last one. Broke, but didn't disintegrate.

Classy elegant wine. Shows a bit too much heat for a pinot, but Classic Russian river pinot wit elegance, fruit, and some spicy sandalwood notes.

I'm really surprised Last Bottle would sell this wine. This seems to have serious VA and is clearly moderately flawed. Cork shredded too. Nose with hint vinegar. Elegant palate, but too flawed to appreciate.

CA chard just doesn't age that well. Even non-malo often.
