This wine aged very well. 2001 was a banner year for these wines and this one held up very well.

This wine was stored perfectly in a refrigerated wine cellar. Unfortunately, it has reached it's peak and is now coming down. It's not corked, just doesn't have much taste...it's rather flat. Looks delightful, but smell and taste are not there...too bad. I am finding many wines from California that I have stored properly are not keeping...must drink faster!

I know that 2009 was a good year, but the wines from that year just don't seem to be holding up. This wine is drinkable, but it seems like it's on its way down and I know that it was a much bigger wine than what we drank tonight. Lesson learned!

2009 Viader Napa Valley Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)

I am a huge fan of Viader wines and the winery itself is amazing to sit and drink wine while overlooking the vineyard; however, I wish I could continue with an upbeat review. I have found on more than one occasion that the Viader wines, even when stored in a temperature controlled wine cellar, do not keep as long as they should. This 2009 is very light and is tasting more like a pinot noir than a big boy cab that cost over $100...very disappointing.

Delicious, nice finish. Can't wait to have the next bottle in another year.

Wine was exceedingly good. We took a chance waiting this long, but think we hit it just right. Had a great finish and

It's a bit more jammy than I prefer.

2011 not as good as 2010. Has a young less complex taste...just not enough body.

This was scrumptious. It had a lot of depth for a white...could have consumed much more!
