Tremendously light and airy. Just disappears in the mouth like some sort of post-modern foam, leaving behind a persistent lemon oil and chalk finish. Awesome stuff

Bright purple like it’s been bottled with xenon. Very fruity and a little hot this vintage but still has that very strong nicoise olive note. I preferred 15 and 16 to 17 and 18 of this wine.

There’s a lot here— a real sense of coiled energy. Pine sap and medicinal reserve. More impressive than nuanced at this early stage, but there is definitely a lot in the tank. That said, it was more pleasurable than I thought it would be.

Really in the zone and firing now. Structure is still there but so is a lovely red fruitedness. If you want pure tertiary experience, no harm in waiting- but this is in a great spot right now.

Either you like burgundy or you don’t. This is light bodied, acidic, and has some powdery tannins. It has a fine, subtle perfume. It really is just pure burgundy- such that it makes heavier or more extravagant burgundies seem nouveau riche and new world Pinot like another beverage from another planet. Just a real, true drink.
