Based on this botte, this wine is starting to degrade; although it could be bottle variation. With said, it was still very good with good fruit, a fading mid-palte and light tannins. The finish has a slight funk taste that we never detected before. We will drank our last bottle soon.

Was a perfect pairing with Bob's smoked ribs and BBQ sauce. A very nice Mourvèdre driven GSM blend. Drinking great now, and should for at least several more years.

A lovely PN. Bright red cherry fruit and a.predominant cinnamon spice component, both which linger on a clean lush finish. This is still quite youthful with good structure that should allow this wine to age gracefully over many years.

We thought this bottle improved since our last note 2-1/2 years ago. It drinks very smooth with decent layers of flavors and a tasty finish. Should continue to drank well for at least a few more years.

This was a fantastic bottle. This wine is still drinking youthful. A nice rich and powerful CDP. It went perfectly with our farro grain bowls top with my smoked brisket, sauted wild mushrooms mix and roasted red beets. Drank or hold, your pleasure.

We really love this wine, probably our best wine we ever had from the Languedoc Roussillon region. It is drinking so lovely right now, but the structure in this wine should allow it to go many more years. It is so smooth to drink on it's own, but really sang when paired with our Coq au vin. The predominant blue fruit, with some red fruit, harmoniously blends in a complex mid-palate. The finish makes you want to take another sip.

A fantastic GSM blend with an expressive nose and excellent depth of bold flavors. Went perfectly with our smoked pulled pork and brisket with a sweet spicy BBQ sauce.

Overall, a fairly tasty Southern Rhone blend, one that will not knock your socks but has most of the components in the right places. The acidity is a little lacking, and the finish is not great, with a bit of a bite. This wine tastes as if it's best days are behind it, so drink up.

An unbelievable bottle, drinking incredibly superb! One of the best, if the not best, Beaucastel we have had in awhile. Layers of mouth watering flavors with a beautiful finish that goes on for ever. This is that unicorn bottle that we all seek.

This wine was perfect with our spicy skirt steak tacos. The dark jammy fruit, hint of oak, vanilla notes, light black pepper and grippy tannins, carrying the tasty jammy fruit on the finish, worked wonderful with our spicy dish.

Drinkable, but not a good bottle. Our previous bottles have been much more enjoyable, something was really off with this one. We detected an issue on the nose upon open the bottle. Hopefully our remaining five bottles do not have this issue.

Sadly, our last bottle. This was still drinking youthful with lots of dark delicious fruit. Supple mouth feel with beautifully integrated flavors. Silky tannins on the finish. Still has a number of good years remaining.

We enjoyed this Sardinia IGT wine composed of 85% Carignano, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Merlot. It's drinking quite smooth now with lovely flavors of woody herbs, vanilla, stewed red fruit, black pepper and liquorice The long tasty finish has refined tannins. Should continue to drink well for a few more years.

Our last of three bottles from this vintage. This bottle is drinking great now and we think it should continue to drink well for a few more years, but sadly we will not know. Juicy brambly black raspberry fruit, heavy cedar notes (a signature of Vincent Arroyo's Petit Sarah wines), black pepper and a thick flavorful finish. It went great with Bob's chili.

Nice body, great mouth feel. Very smooth drinking with a nice touch of lemon, a bit of honey, essence of vanilla and balance acidity. Finishes is smooth and flavorful. This wine is nice enough to drink on its own, was excellent with cheese and the acidity works well with many foods.
