Drank this a little young, strong tannins that need to settle down. dried fruit and plum. would decant for a couple of hours as it got better over time. Will buy more to store over medium term.

Decanted for 2 hours. Not sure but this may have been a flawed bottle. Tasted before decanting, after decanting and a day later, didn't like anything about it. Seemed overripe, very tannic and had this taste of dead rotten dry leather. either not my type of wine or flawed.

Popped poured and drank over 2 hours with no food. This seems to be a big wine that is ready to drink right now lots of dark fruit, leather after an hour turning to a very enjoyable chocolate. Glad I have 5 more bottles, will drink another 2 within the next year or so and will let the rest "rest".

Found it a bit tight upon opening, my son said it tasted watery. opened up a bit to cherry, coffee and chocolate. A great mineral taste. As stated before will only get better with time. Looks like I need to go to the wallet and buy more.

Drank over a couple of hours. Big cherry and raspberry, strong tannins that subsided, some mineral. A little all over the place, think it needs a couple of years to come together, but very enjoyable right now. Great price, will buy more.

Dark, but more medium body. Lots of tannins up front. At first taste some raspberry, but needed some time to open up.(only about 1/2 hour in glass). Still tannic but much softer, abundance of horse leather seems to overtake the fruit. Well integrated from start to finish, although finish not as long as others have noted.

Now I know the difference between Burgundy and North America, cherry red in color. nose is muted as mentioned previously. This is pure mineral and iron up front as opposed to what I have tasted in North America and for that matter anywhere else, mid palate letting in some fruit of raspberry. Very tannic at this point, will let my other bottles sit. I think this will come together. Score is due to the youth of this wine and should improve significantly.
Edit, 3 hours later still tannic, but opened up, raised rating 1 pt. It's going to be hard not break into rest of stash, need to buy more.

Did not decant, couldn't get passed the alcohol and heat. The nose left a burning sensation in my nose. After about 1 hour the alcohol blew off a little allowing the fruit to come through. This wine just didn't do it for me.

Do not think of popping and pouring, the alcohol is overwhelming. Let decant at least 2 hours. I promised myself I would not open another bottle for at least 1 year, but I was in the mood for a big expressive wine. Well, this is it big bold, heavy. After 4 hours fruit comes through with some chocolate. I think this wine will improve greatly, but needs 2,5,10 years. Not that I know anything about such longevity in wine, but I can imagine.

Decanted 3 hours. I think that was too long. The chocolate and vanilla was very present. Enjoyable, but I think I missed out on some of the fruit. I recall drinking this wine at another time without decanting and enjoyed drinking it over a few hours to taste the changes. Next bottle pop pour and enjoy.

Light cherry up front, simple well made pinot. Found good balance not too much acidity, to me. Need to drink with plain foods or you will lose the wine.

Dark fruit, a bit of chocolate, lush mouth feel, soft tanins. Really enjoyed. Bought the rest of the Glaetzer collection Bishop, annaprenna, amon ra, hope the higher prices compare favorably.

Needs to decant for 2 hours to soften up. brings out tabacco and leather. After another hour some chocolate. I think is still young and should age well. With 10 bottles left, I think opening 2 a year will be interesting.

Pop poured, drank over 2 hour period. A lot of fruit to start and yes as mentioned before very grapey. This some what subsided and yielded to more cherry and raspberry. Hint of chocolate toward the end. Nothing complex for very nice for the price. Will buy more.

3rd bottle, starts out very tannic, must decant for at least 1 hour. Like the taste of strawberry and dark chocolate. can't believe WS gave it a 70 something rating, much better then that. I keep buying one bottle at a time and is always pretty enjoyable, not great.
