A nice wine with very strong tannins. Enticing nose and long finish. Fruit is balanced, if somewhat reserved. On second night, tannins had mellowed and flavors were more elegant. Should age well.

Fruit is very reserved but opened up after decanting 2 hours. Tannins have mellowed, but need more time. Overall drinkable, but a bit disappointing.

Deep black purple. Great nose of vanilla, smoky oak, and vegetal green. The tannins have resolved, making this a very rounded wine. Flavors of red berry, hazelnut and cigar are well balanced and very drinkable. Also tried on the secong night where ther fruit has come more forward. Glad that I still have a few bottles of this wine.

Deep, robust red color. Terrific nose of complex aromas. Flavors are already well rounded fruits and fine tannnis. Excellent and long finish. This is a wonder young wine with the structure to develop into something special.

Solid, well made Malbec. Fruity in the middle, spciy warm finish with nice oak. Drink this when a very drinkable, not overly strong Malbec is what is needed.

This wine is very good - long finish, fine tannins, beautiful fruit. Obviously young, but surprisingly drinkeable. If this is an early view of 2005s, they will be specatacular.

Opened up after about an hour in the glass. Heavy red fruits, mroe singular note than most CdPs. Still strong tannins that could use more time. Long finish and drinkeable now, but I suspect will be very good with time.

Deep purple red. Nose has licorice and red fruits. Good medium level fruit with nice finish. Tannins are reasonable and there is chocolate on the finish.

decanted 1 hour - great nose, very smooth tannins and easy to drink. Main complaint is that it is flabby in the middle. Fruit is on the decline.

Deep garnet color. Strong green peppers and earthiness on the nose. A fruit forward wine, but with relatively non-descript fruits. Charcoal and some spice in the middle. Tannins are still ragged, but smooth enough to drink now. Should be good with more time.

Light nose. Wonderful, extended flavors riesling. Upfront citrus, peaches followed by long finish of apples. Good acidity. This a very good food wine. Expect it to develop over time to an even better wine.

Very complex nose - spices, some fruits, euclyptus, some earthiness. Red fruits are present and robust. Tannins are under control and sweet. Nice.

Harsh tannins with a thin finnish. The blend is intersting, but not as successful as it should have been. Let the remaining bottles sit for a year or so to see if the tannins mellow, but suspicious that fruit just isn't there to carry.

Drinkable and pleasant enough. Mid-palate frutis, oak, but not overpowering. Wouldn't call this an obvious Malbec, but OK forthe money.

Liquid raisins, hints of maple syrup, but without the cloying sweetness that can be found in these wines. A great value for a balanced desert wine.

If you like a traditional California chardonnay, this is a great example - nicely, but not overly oaked, pleasantly buttery, a soild range of fruit flavors. Smooth on the finish. While I tend to prefer a more French style chard, I will buy mroe of this wine.

Smooth and elegant are the words that come to mind for this wine. Nothing jumps out at you and that is the interest in this wine. Wish it had a bit more fruit (better after an hour); slighlty hard edged tannins, but again, not noticeable.

Had this at the spring release party and have opened a bottle from my shipment. Both times this has been a marvelous zinfandel - rich fruit, sweet tannins, long finish with spice at the end. Limited nose, but pleasant. This is the kind of wine that wills you to finish the bottle. Wonderful.
