Still has some years ahead of it. Very young to the taste. Still evolving after 5-6 hour decant. Has the nice energy of a cab from France. Still quite grippy tannins. Sharp stewed berries, cassis, saddle leather, and drying tobacco on the nose. Medium full body. But nice length and mouth coating. Try in 2-3 or more years. Or decant 6-8 hours. Tried with braised ribs, good, But much better with lamb!!!!!!

Not what I remember from a few years ago. Lighter color then expected. Lots of flavor as very well depicted from other reviews. Overall very enjoyable. Very good meaty wine. I paired with wygu and brisket burgers, if u had it over again I would pair with brats or sausage. I think that would be the hit!

Wow. As always an Andrew Will dream. Dark berry, creme( if u know what I mean), minerals, wet fresh tobacco. Medium to full full did I say full bodied. Nice dusty to grippy tannins. One that is on your palate for a minute. I swear I need to do a blind tasting with right bank Bordeaux.

Blue and black fruit, cola and root beer, black currant, creme de menthe, vanilla and fresh tobacco. Nice chewy mouth feel. Spicy tannins. Very nice wine. Sure it still has some years but happy I was able to enjoy a 2010 Bordeaux. As I haven't had many. Still think the 2009s are more ready right now.

This is just a baby. But smells of fresh broke cherry, wild flowers, bark, strong cinnamon and clove, deep split oak. The mouth is so big it makes your mouth water. Gritty mouth coating, did I say gritty, tannins. And the longest finish I remember, minutes.

Smells of cherry liqueur, mint, pipe tobacco, cream de cassis, cocoa powder. Fierce on the palate. Wow. Plum, dark chocolate, autumn spices, and cooling. Flavor almost numbs your tounge and last for minutes. Herbs come out after almost minute. Big punch you in the face amarone.
I would say lay it down for a while. But not sure I smell and taste a bit of age already. But I wonder if some of the grip might tone down.

Nice little Bordeaux. The nose was beautiful. Reminds me of sitting outside in autumn, with leaves a changing. Nice black fruit, licorice, slightly bitter coffee note, and a real dry spice box on the ending. Maybe a bit of a squash note, and sometimes got some green notes. Nice powdery tannins. Because of the value 91-92.

An absolute WOW. Please open 2 hours+ early. Smells of cherry cola, blue flowers, creme de cassis, menthol, robust coffee, pipe tobacco. CREAM AND MORE CREAM. Medium full to full bodied. Tannins tight and grippy. Flavors are ever changing thru the night and tingles the tongue for minutes. Mouth coating. Do not be afraid to let it come up to room temp....WOW.

Still tightly wound. The depth of color surprised me. Smells of fleshy plums, currants, licorice, molasses cookies, stone, and wood. Very earthy. Medium to full bodied and a very mouth coating finish. Nice lingering aftertaste. Definitely has a decent amount of Cab Franc. Very nice wine. I do believe this wine has so much life left. I hope I can hold some bottles for another 5 and 10 years.

2+ hours decant and played with a ton. But here we go. Nose: full of sweet creme de cassis, oak, stewed mulberry, clay, limestone, and cream for days. Medium to full bodied, and has a beautiful almost sweet feel. Alcohol shows up a bit on the finish. But cheers to JH & MR! Beautiful wine.

Series 3 2019 Oakville. Hours and hours open. Very light in color for Oakville cab. Was really trying to be a solid cab. After about 6 hour could taste the good juice a bit. But way over charred oak taste. If it wasn't for the year I was gonna say smoke tainted. But rough over oaked, charred, or maybe used Staves in the barrel. It was trying. Honestly have a few more bottles, I will use as gifts or try in 10 years. I guess. Not a fan.

Beautiful wine looking dark and concentrated. Smells of stewed blackberries, baking spice(especially nutmeg and clove), sweet pipe tobacco, and cream de cassis. Taste so dark and brooding...full bodied and a beautiful punch. Goes beautiful with a nice crusted ribeye. This has years to go. But oh so beautiful now, if you don't mind a bit of punch and personality.

Very different. It was so new and old all together. The real age of it didn't fully show for 4 to 6 hours. Bright rasberry leather and maybe some sweet tobacco. Light color. But very flavorfull. Medium body....and ever changing over time.

Goes beautiful with ribeye cap. Smells of plum skin, sweet leather, tobacco, cream, eucalyptus. The spices show up powerful with food. After 4-5 hours it's a power house, if you like to get punched and feel the euphoria afterwards you will love this but needs hours Beautiful with and without food. with hour of decant 92. After time 94+. Wow what a surprise.

Very disappointed the 2018 vintage is not on here. This is a review of the 2018. Not a full bore syrah. But nice but not delicate. definately could mask as a Rhone wine and it would be very well taken. Has a distinct menthol smell as it opens up. Good QPR...would recommend and will buy again.

Smells of stewed berries, stewed meat, spiced Christmas cake, and very distinct green tea, followed by good old fashioned black tea, and a hint of caramel on the nose. The color is one of the darkest valpolicella to date. Viscosity is heavy almost thick. The taste of fermented berries and so many ever changing descriptors, that last every bit of a minute. With dusty tannins that sparkle in your mouth. This is a WOW wine. I have had this 2 years in a row and I would draw blood if some tried to take this glass. If you love Veneto....this is a wine for the ages.

Lemon peel Asian pear and apple flesh...And cream cream vanilla cream for days. Wow. So distinct. So different than the norm. Definitely one of my favorite whites.
