Delicious, slightly oxidative wine. Beautiful yellow color. Mineral/saline and floral notes, aromas of pear and honey. Balanced by nice acidity. Good intensity and long finish. Consistent show over three evenings. Happy to have four bottles left.

This is the entry level Hermannshöhle, but what a good wine it is. Agree with the taste notes below. Such a nice, long finish with acid salinity. It shows all the vineyard's qualities. Therefore a very good QPR. Decanted for 45 minutes. Sadly, it was my last bottle.

Light salmon color. Raspberry, bergamot, herbs peach and floral notes. Soft tannins, buttery mouthfeel. Drank it at 12-14 °C in a Riedel Pinot Noir glass, which worked surprisingly well. Very enjoyable. 91+

Had another bottle of this wine. Decanted 45 min. in advance. Considering the QPR, this is a stellar wine. 90-91.

Depth and flavors increased on day 2. 91

Peach, lemon, and nuts. Mineral and salty. A distinct combination of acidity and a creamy, velvety mouthfeel, giving it a crisp and aromatic vivicity.Aged 12 months on fine lees in stainless steel vats and 36 months in an inox tank. A very pleasant experience. 92+

Bought this in an auction recently. Oh man, I'm so glad I did. This bottle still feels young. The wine is slim, elegant and feminine. Agree with the other notes: floral, chalk, berries, nice acidity. Just wonderful. What a buy.

A delicious Gamay, almost Burgundian. Earthy and herbal with plums and cherries. Fine tannin and nice finish. Very enjoyable at this stage.

Expensive, but an outstanding rose. Dry and powerful, mildly bitter with good acidity. Fruit and floral notes. Long finish. Highly enjoyable.

What a wine! Rich and full palate with long finish. slightly oxidated, amontillado like. Good acidity for (many) more years to come.

On the first day, it was still closed. Open and blossoming on the third day. Don't serve this cold. Ca. 14 degrees C will do. Still delicious on day 4.

Truly 'otherworldly' and very different from what one would expect from a Saumur-Champigny. Not rustic at all, nor freaky like some natural wines. Medium bodied but remarkably pure with great acidity. Nice long finish. Highly enjoyable and very elegant.

My second bottle of this vintage. Whereas the first one appeared tired, this one is still alive and kicking. Barnyard and tee in the nose. Fruit forward on the palate. Medium acidity. A pleasant surprise.

Tasted this along with the B-J Ung. 2018. Distinctly different due to the oak: darker in color, but also in temperament - brooding. Spicy aroma. Wax, grape, lemon. Nice acidity, good structure, good finish. An interesting take on Riesling

An elegant and juicy syrah. Berries, pepper and bacon. Quite North-Rhône like. Delicate and delicious. Decanted for 1 hour, but ready to fly.

Amber color with a golden/orange hue. Nose of acacia, apricots and white flowers. Slightly oxidative in a delicious way. On the palate apple, tangerine, spices, honey. Great mouthfeel, nice viscosity, slight sweetness. L o n g finish. Intriguing wine: truly one of a kind.

Drank it over 5 days. On the last day this wine was still very enjoyable.

Beautiful color: Golden with orange hue. Nose: peach, yellow fruit, plum.Good acidity, finely structured tannin, long finish. A good thirst quencher. For the full flavor palette: Do not drink it too cold.

I don't know how this ever ended up in my cellar. But now it's gone, and it will not be missed. On day 1: perfumed nose, watery mouthfeel, short finish. On day 2 with pasta (Olio & Aglio w/ peppers): much better, thanks to its acidity (and strong peppers in the dish). Score based on average of the two days

On first day PnP, cold from the fridge. On second day more air, and a bit higher temperature. Significantly improved on day 2. Lesson learned: decant prior to drinking. Overall, a really nice Nahe-wine: a true sibling of Klamm, Dellchen and HH. Great QPR. Bravo
