I am a fan of white rioja. This is not a crowd pleaser. It is straw yellow with a distinct musty taste which I like but many do mot. Better for me as I get most of the bottle.

Popped and poured. Pretty closed. Opened up over a few hours. Got really nice and next day was a great start for the evening.

Got better with some time out of the bottle. Decent syrah and drinking well. would recommend decanting for an hour or two.

This is a sweety. Really great balance and can handle spicy food. Had with seafood stew and chorizo and worked great.

Surprisingly tight when popped. Poured through an aerator. Possibly too cold as it came out of my wine fridge. Either it opened up over the course of the evening or I drank too much but I was pretty happy with the fruit and finish by hour 3.

I have always loved this wine and think it continues to show well and drink well. Not typical pinot noir (no sourness to it), fruity and dark.

The wine looks Light brown colored. The legs are Fast.

It was a thing of beauty!!! Dark cherry color, deep rich fruits with balanced alcohol. This is a big wine for a big meal.

One of the best bottle of Barolo (or any wine for that matter) that I have had in the past 5 years. It was awesome! Drinking great, within its window (still good for 3++ years). Was it the environment or the wine - it was the wine - throughly enjoyed. Balanced fruit and alcohol, beautiful legs and browned red color - I could drink this every night and be happy.
