January 16, 2024 - Nose with red fuits and berries, very discreet anise and bitter roses.
Mouth with red fruits, earthy and good tannins (medium +).
Still pretty high acidity, when fruit and tannins are taking into consideration. High alcohol percent as well perhaps feels higher than actual. Food wine absolutely.
Pairs good with beef, but not a big weekend wine.

February 4, 2023 - A well and elegantly aged Gigondas that comes together with very good balance. Some leftover acidity, milk chocolate creaminess and residual alcohol create a great companion for a sub-zero winter afternoon!

February 19, 2021 - Developing beautifully - spicy fruit and exotic nose, round and silky on the palate with supple dark fruit and earth. Nice.

December 16, 2019 - Must be an off bottle because the bottle I had earlier in the years was fine. This one is completely gone: prunes, oxidized, perfect for the sinc.

February 1, 2019 - Quite good, authentic Gigondas - much more so than the Hautes Garrigues bottling. On tertiary notes, garrigue, some animal notes. The fruit is dark and there’s tobacco/smoke as well. I don’t think this will improve further from here.
