April 16, 2015 - MASTER ESAGONALE FRANCIA; 1/14/2015-7/30/2015 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Degustato alla cieca. Macerazione semi-carbonica in botte grande. No solfiti.
Ridotto, stalla e letame. Ha bisogno di molta aria. Piano piano cambia registro e assume un profilo aromatico da bianco. Impatto esotico, quasi da Traminer. La polpa della papaia e della pesca gialla.
In bocca è terroso, croccante e sanguinolento. Trama granulare e aromaticità sciolta, quasi estiva. Frutto dolciastro e floreale, una caramella sugosa alla china.
Tannino da raspi molto granulare ancora un pochino rustico, ma ha una bevibilità trascinante e uno sviluppo leggiadro, quasi galleggia nella sua rilassata liquidità. -

September 15, 2014 - Light ruby color, unfiltered. Unusual barnyard aroma, which eventually blew off hours later. Once this was gone, wine showed adequate extraction from what appears to be a quite weak varietal. Different in a good way.

April 11, 2014 - Light ruby, unfiltered. Funky stink which blew off in about 5-10 minutes, followed by unique aromas, including sour cherries and tobacco. Thin on the palate, with moderate tannins and good acidity. Very unique wine, unlike anything i have tried before. Doesn't taste like the varietal has much to offer, but this wine grabs all it can from the grapes.

January 19, 2012 - Fizzy when first opened. But fizz went away soon. Really enjoyable to drink. Different from any other varietals, so if you like to try a wine that offers new taste definitely try it out.
