May 10, 2012 - Simple Hedonisms Rosé Panel; 5/1/2012-8/5/2012: A richer Rosé from one of the pioneers of Rosé in Paso Robles.
A saignee (juice bleed off) with some Viognier lees added, fermented in neutral oak barrels.
A very dark pink to light red color, just a touch show of red.
The nose is has darker red fruit and cherry notes.
In the mouth, some minerality, berry, cherry.
Dry and good acidity - this is a bigger Rosé better with food and grilled fare.
