November 22, 2012 - Orange pink color with peach, melon, citrus and wet stone aromas. On the palate, it's fresh and medium-bodied with peach, red fruit and hint of citrus and mineral flavors. Medium-long finish.

June 10, 2012 - Simple Hedonisms Rosé Panel; 5/1/2012-8/5/2012: As I come to the final lap of the Rosé tasting, doubling back to one I tasted and loved in March, before the May/June Rosé series.
With so many Rosé behind me, the standout quality of the Quivira release is noteworthy.
A blend of 51% Mourvedre, 18% Carignane, 18% Counoise, 7% Grenache, 6% Syrah
To The Eye: Light salmon pink
On The Nose: Fresh strawberry, watermelon. Notes of wet stone, citrus, white peach.
In The Mouth: A delight, especially for the bright acid driven Rosé fan, but one almost anyone who has a decent wine palate will enjoy.
Bright, fresh, fun, but also layered with nuance. Cherry, strawberry, lingering citrus, and pleasing notes of minerality.
One of my favorites of the panel, and one I want to stock a case of to last now through December. -

March 18, 2012 - Quivira's newly released low production rose' - never lasts long. New in screw top this year. Like last year, heavily Mourvedre based, unlike Grenache prior.
Light, bright, pink in color.
Nose of watermelon jolly rancher and strawberry.
Wonderful in the mouth, watermelon, white peach, red fruits.
Vibrant in mouth, mouth watering acidity that lingers on finish.
13% alc.
Fresh. Bright. Fun.
Enjoy.
