February 12, 2017 - We didn’t take detailed tasting notes but recall the nose being dark fruit, mocha, and earth. On the palate the initial impression was one of mushrooms, unexpected for a cab, but over the next couple of hours the fruit came forward. Mild tannins and a medium finish. Good QPR if you can find it for less than $35.

February 3, 2017 - Exceeded my expectation. Good QPR for Napa. Uses 5 Bordeaux varietals and aged in French oak for 26 months. Not too shabby.
On the same evening we had this and a bottle of Lewis Cellars Hillstone Vineyard 2013 which cost much more and we couldn't justify the price difference at all.

December 25, 2016 - Good wine for prime rib Christmas dinner. Did not take detailed notes, but remember it being just fine. Outshined by the 2011 Chateau Grange Cochard.

September 29, 2016 - Nothing notable and don't see any future potential.

May 17, 2016 - Deep indigo color. Nose of moss and mushroom. Big, robust flavors that were mostly vegetal upon opening. Afte a couple of hours, the opened a bit to reveal a bit of fruit, chocolate and oak. Still needs more time.
