November 27, 2016 - Riesling and Thai food (Sen Yai Sen Lek): Brought to a Riesling tasting. This is definitely big and young right now. Even after a couple hours, fruity and big. It is consistent with Prum quality, but I'm afraid I'll have to cellar the rest of my bottles for at least 10 years.

November 26, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group: A Bevy Rieslings and Thai Food (Sen Yai Sen Lek, Mpls): Just a small taste at the very end of the night. Didn't score it or take notes. Precocious and rambunctious right now, but unequivocally Prum.

October 30, 2016 - Flowers and exotic fruits on the nose. Not too sweet for a Spatlese. Pineapple, melon, and hint of petrol. Still some tannins on mid-palate. Not very long or complex but good balance. Almost easy-going. Paired well with sweet and sour pork tonight. Delicious. Better than Kabinett of the same vintage. ABV 8.5%. Sweetness 2/4. Good enough for me to order 12x halves.

October 22, 2016 - At Fera: served too cold; fresh apples and herbs riesling, light for a spat

September 5, 2016 - Truly amazing white wine. So misunderstood by many. This is wine has a long long life ahead of it. Taste of apricot, pinnapple, and honeysuckle. I have lots of this wine and many other years. It's one of those wines that makes your head spin on a nice summer day.
