September 25, 2014 - Round and fairly open, again fine balance, slightly spicy, with yellow fruit notes; some tropical fruit, too. Hints of minerality which should become more obvious as the wine ages and the fruit recedes. Very good length. Great future. 91-92+

January 21, 2014 - Quite forward, fruity, full and accessible. Has a gentle whiff of toasty sulphur along with mildly exotic fruits. It is rich in the mouth with honeyed fruit flavours and moderate acidity is buried just under the sweetness.

January 5, 2014 - Very grassy, sauvignon blanc nose. Some fizz. Very restrained and balanced.

December 8, 2013 - Wasn't as mind blowing as I had expected but very good. I only was able to enjoy one glass as I split this with my in-laws on Sunday night as we shared beef tacos. Nice lovely notes of white peaches, apples and loads of nice florals of acacia and gardenia. On the mouth the acid seemed a little week until the air got in their. I think a decant is needed if drinking this now as it may have gone a little sleepy. I'm holding the rest of my Prum from '07 for another 2 years at least. Still very enjoyable.

November 13, 2013 - Another delightful Riesling from JJ Prum. Very slatey with citrus, iodine, and other minerals on the nose. The palate is mouth watering with acidity, yet enough sweetness to keep it from being tart. Crisp citrus fruits come through on a delightful finish. Very young, but still delicious.
