April 9, 2024 - I recently acquired a case of this wine from perfect storage conditions, and while this was my first bottle, I can’t help but notice how perfectly in balance this wine is—tertiary notes accompanied by still present primary fruit. Unnoticeable alcohol and integrated, velvety tannins. The wine is what it is, but at the moment, it is firing on all cylinders and is an outstanding value. No reason to rush. No hurry.

January 31, 2024 - I definitely enjoyed drinking this wine, and so did most of the people in my group. It had a wonderful nose and it had a huge degree of depth, the only issue I had is that it didn't have a lot of complexity. The flavor profile was relatively monolithic, with alot of cigar leaf, pipe tobacco, funk and earthy flavors, such as old barnyard hay. Pleasant earthy funk. It's a good wine, but not quite as good as I was hoping. I have one more bottle, that's probably enough.

August 27, 2023 - From a mag this is a beautiful 93 and so Bordeaux in profile. A killer Chianti, full of darker fruit with whiffs of jasmine and a nice long truffled finish. Love it. Drink

February 25, 2023 - Pretty musty at first but really opened up after an hour or so in the decanter....lots of dark fruit and even a bit raisiny on the nose, dark sweet fruit with good concentration and length on the palate.

January 6, 2023 - Showing beautifully right now. Restrained dark fruit, tea tannins. Savory!
