13,5% abv.

October 17, 2015 - Regular dinner group (@ PZ): A friend opened a bottle again. A confirmation of my note of September. Wait until 2021+. I (blind) scored the wine 89 this evening.

September 15, 2015 - Monthly Tuesday group #001: Pomerol (By me): 75% Merlot, 25% Cab. Franc. 30 years old vines and 18 months oak. In the bouquet dark forest fruits, sweet licorice root, some bacon and beautiful oak. On the palate red and dark berries, creamy and round, some metal, good acidity and round, youthful tannin. Good length. Overall a creamy wine in which the oak is not fully integrated yet. Probably wise to wait until the early 2020’s to give it a try. 89 – 90+

Lush, rich, approachable with a lovely mouth feel. The '09 vintage is spectacular
