April 30, 2023 - Evolved nicely throughout the night. Reduction nose on open with tight acidity filling the palate. The fatness came through after 2 hours in the glass, without being overpowering. Very elegant and drinking really well especially towards the end.

April 30, 2023 - Casual Sunday Dinner?: What a stunning 2011. Sesame reduction upon opening, bodied but incredibly chiseled, a very elegant expression of the terroir. White fruit, flint, gunpowder, intense. Some thinness among the Grand Cru fat body, in a good way. Outshined the two Montrachets with its personality. 95-96

April 18, 2022 - Small plot south of the batards and under the Blanchots, pure limestone and facing south. On the first smell, one immediately feels that it is going to be truly great. A discreet, but ultra-refined nose, typical of Lamy with aromas of limestone chips mixed with citrus fruits and lemon scents; and then the vibration of the liquid limestone takes the mouth, subtly but entirely, a very dense juice yet incredibly refined, and an absolutely extraordinary spherical intensity, a rising entropy that seems endless, what a persistent finish here, this is just brilliant !

March 12, 2022 - 08/09/10/11/17HD -- absolutely signing and my WOTF at the moment. Concentrated, lush, intriguing fruit with pin-point balance.

March 12, 2022 - La Paulée de New York Gala Dinner (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY): In 08/09/10/11/17 vertical. My favorite of the vertical. Brilliant floral start, this was the most attention-grabbing of the vertical, but also showing near perfect balance and great restraint with a complex array of apple and pear on nose and palate. Just entering its drinking window, this should drink brilliantly for at least another decade.
