March 25, 2022 - North London TWS Tastings series: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (Must and Lees, N1): This is better than my last bottle showing the longevity of this village wine

Nose brings mint, red currant, some meatiness/ leather, sous bois and a delicious sapidity that lures you in. Just hint of reduction
Palate brings that sapid red plum, morello cherry, mushroom. Very moreish.

March 24, 2022 - Chardonnays and Pinots of North London (Must & Lees): Pale in colour, seemingly from the winemaking rather than age. Very savoury and elegant, strawberry and plum fruit, attractively integrated and long. On the rich side for a 2010, which is a vintage I love, and this did not disappoint.

March 24, 2022 - A little bit green on the nose but it has enough softness starting to show from age. Dustings of cocoa, orange marmalade, cloves, a tiny touch of black pepper. Very good.

March 24, 2022 - North London TWS Tastings series: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (Must and Lees, N1): What a nose! The first red of the evening and it was a great starter for the pinots. Floral and classic. Quite a pale wine, excellent tart red fruit and very precise structure. Such an easy wine to drink, excellent and in a good place at the moment despite the CT dates.

April 8, 2021 - Nose is initially very clearly struck match but this resolves to give really delicious smelling strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate, white pepper and some earthy minerality to it too. Very perfumed - beautiful.

Palate gives clean red fruit - raspberry and pomegranate - then a wonderful juicy acidity which makes this really moreish. A little tannin on the back end. Really delicious wine.
