June 17, 2023 - My last bottle of the 2011.
When it was first released close to 10 years ago, it was not very good. But we re-visited it in 2021, and what a difference 10 years made.
I have had a couple more bottles since then, and it continues to drink wonderfully.
We did not have to decant. It was ready to drink immediately after opening

March 25, 2023 - Had pretty average expectations, thinking we might have let this one go too long and we were right. Color is browning. Lots of the savory characteristics coming out - mushrooms, green peppers, maybe some hints of dark fruit left, but not much. I think this is past it’s prime, we had it with some chocolate, maybe it would compliment some meat or something better?

October 31, 2021 - This was the time when I became u enamored of Pheps wines. They are fine, but I kept noticing off flavors and aromas. This 2011 is still drinking fine but is not overwhelming. I think they started to diversify too much and lost focus.

October 25, 2021 - Held up quite well - left out for a couple hours before drinking. Amazing nose. Solid into the following day. I’d say pretty close to peak

August 25, 2021 - Better after 2 hours, but getting past its prime
