Vraiment cher. 91 pts

April 28, 2014 - Rousseau 2011 by Luis Gutierrez (Enoteca Barolo - Madrid): Opaque nose when opening. Floral with time. Just needs time to express what's inside. Chalk.
Creamy, elegant, no a singe doubt is a young GC but promising and offering some good feelings where this gem gonna be in ten years.
Not aggressive at all. People's choice.

February 19, 2013 - An interesting wine and a paradox in a bottle- I found the nose to be very expressive and delightful with lots of spice, coffee cake, chicory and lots of berries but the palate was the most closed of the Rousseau wines, with basic wet earth and cooked black fruits. I wonder if the palate will open up over time? This is a wine to watch because, if the palate does flesh out, it could be amazing.

February 8, 2013 - Wildman New Release Burgundy Tasting (Trump International Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting. Classically Gevrey aromas with game, black cherry and espresso. Similar on palate, very dense, meaty and long. Very good and easy to enjoy and of the three Rousseau 2011s I had the opportunity to taste tonight, this was a slight step up over the Gevrey Villages but not as exciting as the Clos de la Roche.
