October 28, 2023 - Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent): bottle provided by co-worker, opeped at 18.10 tasted 19.45, tasted in Riedel performance syrah
    The wine shows evolved color
Fragrant, elegant, red cherry, light floral notes, some spice hints in the back
Palate is elegant again, juicy tannins, smooth texture, spice and earthy notes, nutty, almond notes, med body, med finish
With more and air, the wine expands a bit with no changes in texture
    I expected more

February 24, 2019 - Krotida Wine Gang Tasting, Marc Sorrel Hermitage Tasting (A for Athens): The wine is clear and pale red in colour.
The wine shows high intensity in the nose, clean red fruit, spices. very rich and beautiful oak frame, slightly earthy with a few floral notes.
The wine is smooth in the palate showing rich ripe red fruit, velvety tannins, medium acidity, almost sweet, so silky with medium finish.
With time the red fruit gets riper, offering vanilla and sweet spices.
Outstanding quality, ready to drink and utterly delicious

December 29, 2015 - Light style, but attractive. Pretty red fruit and a touch of mineral grip.
Just about open to drink, but would maybe prefer with a few more years in the bottle.

June 14, 2014 - Light pale ruby red; raspberry and strawberry juice, flowery and light. Slight sweet-tart aspect. Not at all what I would consider a classic Hermitage. Not bad, mind you, but so light, elegant, fruity, with almost non-existent tannins and tart acid. Blind I thought this was a Pinot. Disappointing.
