October 29, 2017 - A fully resolved, gentle, no brett, smooth, slight bite/tang, low tannin, not over the hill, essence of gamay fruit. Lovely. Drink by 2020.

February 26, 2017 - I think it might be past it's prime. Not much fruit, maybe too much acid and no tannins.

April 15, 2015 - Drank nicely. Good complexity and quite mellow on the palate.

April 13, 2015 - To be honest. This wine stayed, until recently, in the domaine cellars so I knew where it was from. And I paid... € 37 while the 2012 costs € 15. And is it worth the ageing and extra money? Yes, it definitely is! Very light in colour. Nose with strawberry, sweet red berries, earthiness and poo. Lovely palate, everything softened out and balanced. Great finish, sharp and sweet. Very, very good!

March 11, 2015 - MASTER ESAGONALE FRANCIA; 1/14/2015-7/30/2015 (HOTEL WESTIN PALACE MILANO): Degustato alla cieca. Granato evoluto e quasi aranciato.
Naso smaltato, etero, selvaggina, pellame e infusione macerativa di spezie e fiori. The nero, goudron, quasi pepato. Naso sensuale, femminile, maturo. Poi tabacco, frutta candita e distillata, quasi affumicato. Stupendo! Sembra un Volnay di fine anni 80. Wow!!
    Vino emozionante
