March 30, 2020 - Drinking beautiful. Full bodied, fruit forward and smooth. Delicious and something to look forward to during these Coronavirus challenged times!!

December 28, 2018 - 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot aged 30 months in oak.
Moderate sediment detected on decant. Deep, opaque and glass staining purple/red.
The nose opens with complex aromas of dense dark cherry, cassis, and blackberry compote that are knitted with scents of vanilla, herbs, tobacco, pepper, baking spice, cocoa and a hint of toasted nuts along with the warming sensation from the alcohol.
Full bodied on the palate showing ripe-full-fine tannins, above moderate mid-palate density, alcohol and acidity. Rich and dense flavors penetrate the palate with luxardo cherry, cassis, fleshy black plum and berry compote, vanilla, herbs, spice, ganache, tobacco and hints of roasted hazelnut and cedar. The finish lingers.

January 22, 2016 - A bit of a brute right now and it could have used more than an hour decant. The heavy blackberries do allow some blueberries and red fruits and herbs along with sweet Oak to appear. The alcohol is under control (barely). This has the potential for some real upside in a half dozen years.

August 12, 2015 - PnP and was tannic at first but settled down over the next hour or so and was good on the second day too.
