March 1, 2024 - Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Opened/ decanted an hour before tasting, then tasted again a few hours later. Rich and bulky to start with so much power and hints of great complexity. Some of that nuance was finally front-and-center at the end of the afternoon. I remain confident of this wine's 95-96+ point potential.

July 20, 2023 - Delicious now, even if young. Very detailed and fragrant, with excellent fruit and balance. Maybe a touch green in the finish, but has the goods. Would be great to try next to other vintages like the 2010 to see how it stacks up, I think it would hold up pretty well (96-97)
