  February 15, 2008 - Maybe opened up to early but still a marvelous wine. Somewhat restrained in the nose with red fruit, mushrooms and earth, tight tannins. in the mouth the body was balanced, elegant showing warm fruit, a little hot and big on the approach, not too complex but plush and fruity.

  February 13, 2008 - Flock - 2000 Bordeaux Tasting (Dr. Tom's): Nose is floral, with sweet currants, modest smoke and toast. Palate echoes the nose with sweet fruit and violet notes. Tannins are still quite firm and compress the wine. Overall a nice effort with years of development ahead. My #5, Group #6.
