August 21, 2023 - First note right off the bat was green olives in the most delightful way. Then came the apricot, honeycomb, pine tips, and honeydew melon and - wow. What a stunner.
Sweet for sure, but balanced with an incredible lip-stinging acidity. Dangerously delicious. And so, so young still at this 12 year old stage.

October 17, 2022 - Tasted blind. Not too sweet, like a typical German Auslese, but great acidity and notes of melon, lemon peel and grapefruit. Lovely.

December 8, 2021 - Green jolly rancher (in a good way). Resin and funk but well-balanced against sweetness.

June 21, 2020 - Dagueneau Babylone has a distinctive ripe pineapple and dry haystack nose that is unmissable. Tasted blind and instantly thought of Dagueneau Babylone. A fresh and dense array of pineapple, haystack, lychee and bee wax. Slightly sweet with very good acidity and body. A sweet wine that I don’t find too cloying, very enjoyable. Babylone, Daguenaau? 2008? (88/100)
