August 24, 2023 - Spectacular cab in early to mid stages of maturity. Tannins are soft and palatable but there is a strong dark fruit backbone that is still intact. Long exquisite finish. Decanted for about 30 minutes and consumed over 2-3 hours. Tremendous. Drink now with short decant or hold. Suspect this probably has another 5-10 years of longevity.

August 11, 2023 - A great time to drink this as all thought this flavor profile was at peak. Loads of cassis and black currant. One's affinity for this wine might have much to do with how much one does or doesn't prefer those flavors. I loved the first glass of those bold flavors and then tired of them, which for me makes this a wine that starts strong and fades.
